INEDIM

The Institute for Studies and Disclosure on Migration AC (INEDIM) is an independent, plural, non-partisan and non-profit organization dedicated to the analysis, study and dissemination of specialized information on migration and asylum in the Central American and Mexican region. It was founded in 2009 due to the growing need to generate proposals that comprehensively address the phenomenon of migration.

Mission

Generate knowledge, disseminate information, promote articulation and promote participatory debates in order to influence the development of public policies on migration, with a focus on human rights, development and human security.

Vision

An inclusive region where human mobility is the result of free choice and is carried out in conditions of security and respect for human rights.

CONTRIBUTE to the development of comprehensive public policies on migration, with a focus on human rights, development and human security, through the generation of knowledge and information. ENCOURAGE the articulation and dialogue between actors from different sectors and agendas, for the generation of sustained debates and the construction of alternatives and solutions to migratory problems. DISSEMINATE information and analysis, to change the paradigm of public policies and for the formation of a public opinion in favor of the human rights of migrants and their families. CONSOLIDATE a professional, transparent and sustainable organization, to be a benchmark in the study, management and evaluation of migration public policies.
